Russian River Valley

Tangerine, apricot and white peach notes are infused with floral notes of orange blossom and jasmine. The varietal characteristic roundness on the mid-palate is complimented with a crisp finish of salivating acidity.
Gregori Vineyard is planted in the heart of Green Valley, Russian River. This cooler area of Russian River allows the fruit to maintain a fresh acidity, while the famous Goldridge soil promotes excellent drainage and concentration of fruit.
The vineyard was harvested at the end of August and was pressed to neutral barrels where fermentation started natively and lasted 30 days. The wine was aged for 6 months in neutral French oak barrels with judicious stirring of the lees, and filtered before bottling. The wine was unfined so may drop light tartrate crystals with aging.
Food Pairing Notes
Asian noodles pair perfectly with this wine as well as herb crusted goat cheese.
